Featuring a terrace, Gandarela Turismo Rural is located in Ourense in the Galicia region, 12 km from Pazo da Touza Golf and 18 km from Auditorium - Exhibition Center. This must be the most spectacular hotel in our 10 Hotel trip ! This place simply has everything <3 as you approach, you find yourself on the banks of a river and a pretty Romanesque chapel greets you. You drive on as you enter a wood which stretches along the bank of the river. You drive on a small road, with no problems, and enter the property. The carpark leads to a lawn with lovely plants and a front garden overlooking the river. The view is beautiful. We were greeted by the host who explained to us the story of the place and bit about the family business of wines. He showed us to our room. The building itself is rustic in style but exquisitely renovated with all modern amenities, and so much elegance and 'buen gusto'. The room was a dream, furnished in a rustic, minimalistic fashion, with delicate and relaxing lighting . Such a big room with a balcony sprawling onto the garden and the river. Below and beyond the property, the wood continues, and offers a lovely stroll along the bank of the river. Thankfully we had also booked dinner at the property. At night the garden lawn on the river was turned in a candlelit restaurant. We were offered a superb dinner cooked by the hostess herself, who is a qualified chef, in her own right. This meal was in itself a wonderful experience, and offered great value for money. The atmosphere it offered, the view, even at night, being a full moon, the delicate goodness of the fare, the wine which was from their own Bodega, made it a night to remember. The breakfast, served in an elegant manor style dining room consisted of freshly baked bread from their kitchen, home made jams and other products. Congratulations to this beautiful couple who turned this old property into a piece of heaven on earth !

Casiñas do Sil has air-conditioned guest accommodation in Cristosende, 49 km from As Burgas Thermal Springs, 15 km from Sil Canyon and 47 km from Manzaneda Ski & Mountain Resort. Everything was great, we really enjoyed our small vacation ❤️ The only recommendation is to add one mirror somewhere else except bathroom😅 Thank you!

Boasting a garden and views of garden, Caraxolas is a recently renovated country house situated in Lugo, 13 km from Lugo Cathedral. Vertinna,Isabel, var det en stor glede å møte. Vi følte oss velkomne fra første stund. Hvis vi ikke hadde måttet reise videre,ville vi helt sikkert blitt værende flere dager. Rommet var fint og frokosten rikholdig og smakfull.

1.5 km from Pazo Beach, Casa Rural Laxido is a recently renovated property situated in Rianjo and features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. This place was the nicest place we stayed at on our entire journey through Spain and is truly a little paradise. Maria was a fantastic host and gave us loads of recommendations on things to do. The place is well thought out and has so much attention to detail e.g. remote gate control, entire place has wifi routers, a fantastic garden with fruits and vegetables you can use depending on season. It was very clean and well maintained. It could have not been more comfortable. The owner was very nice as well. It is also a great place for dogs since it is a closed area. The swimming pool was great, too. The house has great style and bathrooms were perfect including extended mirror light. The old and new style of the house are perfectly merged together. We will definitely come back again.

Situated 19.1 km from Santiago de Compostela Cathedral, Hostel & Rooms Casa Maia features accommodation with a garden, a terrace and a shared kitchen for your convenience. I loved this property. It’s a little way out of Padron but is in a lovely peaceful location. The room was very comfortable and we had our own terrace to sit out and enjoy the evening sunshine. Kitchen well stocked and a washing machine and dryer which is always a big bonus for walkers of the Camino. The host was a delightful person and left coffee and cakes for our breakfast .

Casa de Miranda Turismo Rural in a charming and extremely comfortable setting, with exquisite personal attention from host Sra Joaquina. Set up on the hillside, in a newly restored old stone house, it is within easy walking distance of three restaurants and the beach. A few minutes away by car from the stunning Fervenza de Ézaro, which you can walk or kayak to. The breakfast buffet included in the room rate, surpassed that of all the other hotels, pazos and monasteries my mother and I stayed at during an 8-day road-trip. Freshly baked homemade cakes, with eggs and honey from the owners’ own farm, as well as assorted non-lactose milks offered without asking, proves a generosity and attention to detail that was a delight to experience. Will be back for sure!

Absolutely unbelievable place to stay, the best accommodation I have stayed at in Europe, ever Staff were fantastic This is a mega place to go to, a must on anyone’s bucket list

Located just 39 km from Lugo Cathedral, Habitaciones La Cuevona de Guitiriz Lugo offers accommodation in Guitiriz with access to a garden, a bar, as well as a shared kitchen. The breakfast was very nice and we had dinner which was so delicious 😋! Pablo our host and chef was so friendly and welcoming and his lasagne and risotto were excellent. The lounge dining room is very relaxed and comfortable as was our room. There is also an outdoor seating area which is lovely if it’s sunny. Overall there is a lovely peaceful feel in the property and would stay again if in the area.
